I booked a rental from here and recieved my rental agreement but upon going to pick up my vehicle the support team informed me that my reservation was cancelled a day before! No communication from them prior to me arriving at the downtown chicago location to pick up the vehicle. This is the worst company to rent from and i advise you to rent elsewhere due to their lack of communication. I was stuck at this location and had to call a uber to take me back to my home. Very unprofessional and i would not recommend this company at all!

From booking the rental to dropping off was a an amazing experience! The team at Windy City EV have it all! Customer service at its finest. Answering all any any questions I had. Cindy was able to explain very clearly how everything worked in the car. Her communication with me throughout the trip was Great. Even the simple message she sent mid trip just checking in (it was my first time in a Tesla) was comforting. The Tesla 3 was very Clean and in great condition. It handled very well in any condition, EVEN SNOW! I was very impressed. Being a "car guy" I've been wanting to drive one and I'm very happy I finally was able to. Also, I made some new friends and maybe my next car. Thank you Windy City Ev! ✌️

Windy City EV is a very good, responsive company. The communication was great even though I was from New Zealand. We managed to communicate easily via Whatsapp and got everything we needed. The Tesla’s were amazing and easy to use and charge. The vinyl wrap on the model X should be ditched since it is peeling up. But that is only for vanity sake. ?. Thanks so much to Bobby. Great service.

Driving is fun again!
I rented the Rottweiler for a trip back in July to visit family in the Peoria area. Pick up and Drop off of the car could not have been easier, and finding charging locations only takes a couple of taps on the touch screen.
I was nervous at first, since I had never driven an EV before, but one-pedal driving is very intuitive. I actually found the pedal to be so smooth and comfortable, that I rarely used the self-driving feature.
I also found the large touch screen very easy to use, read and navigate.
I would highly recommend Windy City EV to anyone looking to experience a Tesla, and I will absolutely be booking with them again the next time I travel to Illinois.

When there were no other rental vehicles available except at the airports, Windy City EV still had some Teslas available. I rented a Model 3, and it far exceeded my expectations. I had never driven an EV, so Windy City EV provided some resources to get me started. The process was smooth, the staff were professional and courteous, and the rates were quite reasonable. I’d definitely use them again.

Excellent customer service. Windy City went above and beyond to meet our requests. Had a small accident where the car ran over a truck tire and Windy was able to take care of everything and leave us with a peace of mind. The car is amazing also. Just be warned that this will make you hate your regular ICE car once the rental is done!

Amazing car rental service. I had never driven a Tesla before and we rented one from them. After all of the information that they sent to me I felt like I had been driving them for years by the time I got in the driver’s seat. I would definitely rent from them again and recommend them to anyone who is looking to learn more about EVs or even just rent one for a night out.

The process was so easy and convenient. The Tesla I rented was clean and ready to go when I arrived for pick up. If you are visiting Chicago or just feel like having some fun for the weekend, this is a great option. Definitely worth the price.
